The Outpost Housing Project provides advice, support, and information for young people aged 16-25 who are LGBT or those who think they might be and have housing related issues. it was established in 1995. In 2013
The service is national, but focused on the North East and based in Newcastle.
In May 2013 it merged with the Albert Kennedy Trust and was renamed AKT Outpost.[1]
