Luton Town Hall
Luton is a town and unitary authority in Bedfordshire. It is noted for Vauxhall Motors and Luton Airport.

LGBT history

There was a Luton CHE group in the 1970s.

Tony Fenwick wrote a gay history of Luton.[1]

The Pan Club, at 54 Bute Street, advertised in Gay News [2].

There is a Luton LGBT Steering Group.[3]

LGBT Connected:UK is a networking service for local people, and LGBT Links Luton offered counselling and other services.

Local gay venues include Flame Nightclub, Kink Bar, and the California Inn.

Luton Pride is held in July.

In 2023 Luton Town Football Club were heavily fined after some if their fans used homophobic chants at a football match in Brighton [4].
