Gay and Lesbian Youth in Calderdale (GALYIC) was a service for young LGB people in Calderdale West Yorkshire.It ran from 1997 to 2011.[1]
In 2012 Jan Bridget received a Calderdale Citizenship award for her work with the group.[2]
Subsequently, Jan Bridget kept the former GALYIC going, renaming it as Gay and Lesbian Youth Information Centre to keep the same initials and web address.[3]
