North Lincolnshire is a unitary authority within the ceremonial county of Lincolnshire. The district was created in 1996 from several districts within the former county of Humberside. The main town is Scunthorpe.

LGBT history

There was a Grimsby/Scunthorpe CHE group in the 1970s.

The Scunthorpe Gay Men and Women's Group was founded in 1990.[1]

Say YES to Equality is a group for local young LGBT people.
