Wakefield is a city and metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire. It lies between Leeds and Sheffield and includes the "Five Towns" of Normanton, Pontefract, Featherstone, Castleford and Knottingley.LGBT history

Wakefield Gay Group (WaGG) is a monthly social group which had its first meeting in September 2011.[3]
