Durham Cathedral
Durham is a city in the north-east of England, within County Durham. It is noted for its ancient cathedral and castle. In the middle ages, the Prince Bishops of Durham whose powers locally were compared to those of a king. Durham University was founded in 1832.

LGBT history

Durham had its own GLF group and later its own CHE group.

In 1981 the CHE Conference was held in Durham.

There was a "Durham" page on the former NE Gayscene website.[1]
