A man on stilts talks to a police officer at Nottingham Pride 2010.

Nottinghamshire Pride is a registered charity which organises an annual pride festival in July in Nottingham and other events. Pride events have been held in Nottingham since around 1997.

Nottinghamshire Pride replaces a previous charity, Nottingham Pride, which ran into debt and was closed by the Charity Commissioners.

"Nottinghamshire Pride will take place on 25th July 2015 in the Lace Market and Hockley area. Pride last year was a huge success and enabled us to clear away the debts of the previous charity, Nottingham Pride."[1]
