Pride 2009 took place on 25 July in the [[Nottingham Arboretum]]. Pride 2010 took place on 31 July on the [[Forest Recreation Ground]]. It was officially opened by the [[Lord Mayor of Nottingham]], Brian Grocock and the event was headlined by [[The Cheeky Girls]], with other acts including [[Kenelis]], [[Lisa Scott-Lee]] and [[Betty (band)|Betty]]. Nottinghamshire Pride is a registered charity which organises an annual pride festival in July in Nottingham and other events.

Nottinghamshire Pride replaces a previous charity, Nottingham Pride which ran into debt and was closed by the Charity Commissioners.

"Nottinghamshire Pride will take place on 25th July 2015 in the Lace Market and Hockley area. Pride last year was a huge success and enabled us to clear away the debts of the previous charity, Nottingham Pride."[1]
