Ards and North Down (red)
Ards and North Down, also known as North Down and Ards, is a local government district and borough in Northern Ireland as of 1 April 2015. It corresponds to two previous local government districts, the Borough of North Down and the Borough of Ards. The main towns are Bangor, County Down and Newtownards.

LGBT history

Gay & Lesbian Across Down (GLAD) was a social/support group for the LGBT Community in North Down and Ards.[1] It closed down in 2013.[2]
