Paris Lees is a transgendered journalist and editor of Meta magazine. She describes herself as "trans and feminist".[1] She was born in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.She won a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2011 and was one of the judges for the Pink List 2012.
