Bishopbriggs is a town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, historically in Lanarkshire, now a suburb of Glasgow.

LGBT history

The actor Dirk Bogarde lived with an aunt and uncle in Bishopbriggs in the 1930s while attending school in Glasgow.[1]

The poet and novelist Jackie Kay was brought up there.
