Rochdale is a town and metropolitan borough in Greater Manchester. It was an important textle manugfacturing centre in the early industrial revolution, and the birthplace of the co-operative movement.
LGBT history
There was an Oldham-Rochdale-Tameside CHE group in the 1970s.
The Rochdale LGBT Network Reading Group meets in the Central Library.[1]
