'''Queer Youth London and South East''' ('''QYLSE''') was a youth-led regional group that was part of the [[Queer Youth Network]], a national organisation by and for LGBTQ Young People.

The Queer Youth Network was a national youth-focused organisation that supported the overall well-being of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Transsexual, Intersex, Questioning, Curious, Asexual, Pansexual or Queer and/or people who are potentially socially marginalised as a result of their identity, as well as those who advocate on their behalf by:

* Creating effective opportunities for our voices to be heard.
* Advocating safe, inclusive, peer-led, queer-positive spaces.
* Developing innovative projects, initiatives and resources.

QYLSE's region covered the [[South East]] of England including the London area. Between [[Reading]] in the west to [[Ramsgate]] on the east coast, from [[Bedford]] in the north to [[Brighton]] in the south.

== History ==

QYLSE was founded by a collection of local gay youth groups that came together to form a regional network supporting the needs of local LGBT young people. Queer Youth London and South East was originally two local groups - [[Queer Youth Sussex]] (which met in Brighton) and [[Queer Youth London]] which merged to form one big super-regional group.

They met once a month in London and are gradually expanded to ensure several meets a year in [[Hertfordshire]] as of 2011.Activity appears to have ceased after 2015.
