Mark Bunyan was born in [[Bristol]], studied at [[St Andrews University]], where he met Andrew, his long-time partner, and has lived in [[London]] since 1972.<ref>http://www.markbunyan.com/about_me.htm</ref>

He co-founded the [[Pink Singers]] in 1984, and has had a long association with [[Gay's the Word bookshop]].

In 2010 he won a silver medal in the British Gymnastics Association over-60s recreational trampolining event.
