'''Jim Edgell''' (1936–2005) was Chairman of the [[Tunbridge Wells CHE Group]] from 1975 onwards, and also co-ordinator of the [[West Kent Befriending Group]].. He later moved to [[Bedford]] where he was one of the founders of the [[Bedford Gay Help Line]] and an effective presenter of the gay cause on local radio. He was a member of the [[CHE]] National Executive for many years.
