'''Fired up for Snow''' was a web site campaign run from 2000-2003 to rally support for a Gay Winter Games. The web site attracted over 200,000 unique visitors during its lifetime and was a member of the [[EGLSF]]. It was designed and created by [[Jonathan Harbourne]], after he attended the first three [[European Gay Ski Week]]s. The web site won The Good Web Guide badge in 2002. The site was publicised using postcards and boxes of free match-books (‘fire’) that were given to gay pubs (when smoking was still permitted in bars).

It was reported that the Federation of Gay Games (FGG) was considering organising a Gay Winter Games, but abandoned the idea when they had the split over the Montreal [[Gay Games]], and the formation of the [[World OutGames]]. Jonathan is now chairing the London bid for the Gay Games in 2018.
