The Sexual Offences (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 2000 was a law passed by the States of Guernsey in 1999, which came into effect in 2000. It reduced the age of consent to 18 in line with the United Kingdom. It also removed the law against gay sex by crew of Guernsey merchant ships, while clarifiying that such acts could still be grounds for dismissal.

The law applied to the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou 9so presumably not to Alderney and Sark).
