West Dorset shown within Dorset

West Dorset is a former local government district in Dorset. In 2019 it became part of the new Dorset Council area. It included the towns of Bridport, Dorchester, Lyme Regis and Sherborne.

LGBT history

West Dorset Women's Group is a Lesbian womens group for socialising, walks, activities and events. Bridport LGBT Group meets at The Woodman Inn, South Street, Bridport [1]. Space Youth Project run events for young LGBT people in Dorchester, Sherborne and elsewhere in Dorset [2].
