Bedfordshire Gay Police Association was listed in the Consortium Directory in April 2012 as "Memorandum and articles of association currently being adopted by membership."[1]

According to Stonewall, it was "set up under the existing infrastructure of the GPA with the support of the Chief Constable [of Bedfordshire] who saw the group as a valuable tool for furthering the force’s diversity work."[2]
