The White Swan

The White Swan, also known as BJ's White Swan, is a gay dance bar in Commercial Road, Limehouse, in the East End of London. Gay Europe (1995) describs it as "Working-class, local color East End Crowd. Shows, sometimes."

Wednesday nights at the White Swan are stripper nights. In January 2011 the local authority, Tower Hamlets council, threatened to ban the stripper nights as part of a general policy of closing venues that featured strippers, but the venue hoped to escape the ban because the strippers are amateurs and no exploitation is involved.

The WayOut Club meet there once a month.
