Andy Street

Andy Street is a business man and Conservative politician. He was formerly managing director of the John Lewis retail chain. In 2017 he was elected at the first Mayor of the West Midlands.

<references> He was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and moved to Birmingham with his parents, both scientists,[1] when he was ten months old, growing up in Northfield and Solihull.[2] He attended Green Meadow Infants School, Langley Junior School and King Edward's School in Edgbaston.[2][3] He studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Keble College, Oxford.[4]
