Dewsbury Town Hall

Dewsbury is a town and former county borough in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire. It is the largest town in the Heavy Woollen District, a conurbation of small mill towns.

LGBT history

The playwright and author Tim Fountain was born there in 1967.
