Queer as Folk was a television series about the lives of gay men in and around Canal Street, Manchester. It was written by Russell T Davies. Eight episodes were broadcast in 1999, and a further two episodes (Queer As Folk 2) in 2000. The cast included Antony Cotton as "Alexander".

It was followed up by an American TV series with the same name, which ran from 2000 to 2005.
