Amber Valley district shown within Derbyshire

Amber Valley is a local government district and borough within Derbyshire, named after the river Amber. The main towns are Alfreton, Belper, Heanor and Ripley.

LGBT history

The writer Narvel Annable went to school in Heanor and now lives in Belper.
