Location of Aberconwy within Wales

Aberconwy is a parliamentary constituency and former local government district of North Wales, containing towns such as Conwy, Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno.

The district was created in 1974, and was part of the county of Gwynedd. In 1996 it was merged with the Colwyn district to form the new Borough of Conwy. The whole of the new borough was then grouped for ceremonial purposes with the preserved county of Clwyd.
