Lancing is a seaside village in the Adur district of West Sussex. Lancing College, a noted public school is on a hill to the north of the village. The college chapel is a noted landmark and can be seen from miles around.

LGBT history

Former pupils of Lancing College include Eveleyn Waugh and Tom Driberg.
