Jenny Bailey, born 1962, is a Liberal Democrat politician who was the first trans person in the UK to be a mayor. She was elected as Mayor of Cambridge in 2007.

She was born in Doncaster and been married with two children before her transition. Her partner Jennifer Liddle, also a trans woman, wsa elected to Cmbridge Council in 2000, and Bailey followed her in 2002.[1]
