Mid Glamorgan (Welsh: Morgannwg Ganol) is a former county in south Wales. It was created in 1974.

The county was abolished in 1996, and replaced with four unitary authorities: Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taff, and part of Caerphilly]. West Glamorgan was retained for ceremonial purposes as a preserved county. The boundaries of the preserved county were later adjusted to put the whole of Caerphilly in Gwent.

It is part of the South Wales Police area.
