The Fountain, Handcross

From LGBT History Project

The Fountain was a gay pub in Handcross, West Sussex. It was particularly trans-friendly, attracting trans people from far and wide, including members of Croydon Trans Group.[1]

It closed in mid-2011[2] and an application has been made to demolish it and replace it with housing.[3]
