West Dorset is a former local government district in Dorset. In 2019 it became part of the new Dorset Council area. It included the towns of Bridport, Dorchester, Lyme Regis and Sherborne.

LGBT history

There is a West Dorset Women's Group. Bridport LGBT Group meets at The Woodman Inn, South Street, Bridport [1]
