Kirkcaldy is a town and former royal burgh in Fife, on the Firth of Forth. From 1974 to 1996 there was a local government district of that name within the then region of Fife.

LGBT history

The Flavours of Fife youth group meets in Kirkcaldy.

Fife Pride is held annually in Kirkcaldy.
