Todmorden is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire.
In the mid 1970s Todmorden was the home to a number of CHE activists, including Michael Steed,Chris Bowden-Smith and Micky Gibberd [1]. The town has a monthly women-only disco[2] and is said to have an unusually large lesbian population.[3]
