Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire. It lies on the River Severn, which forms a loop around the historic centre of the town.

LGBT history

The Shropshire Rainbow Film Festival takes place every October in Shrewsbury.[1]

LGBT Shrewbury lists LGBT events and organisations in the town.[2]

Chill Out Mondays are held monthly in the Old market Hall in the Square.
