Milngavie Clock

Bearsden and Milngavie (Gaelic: Cille Phàdraig Ùr agus Muileann Dhaibhidh) is a former council area in the Strathclyde region of Scotland. In 1996 it was absorbed into East Dunbartonshire.

LGBT history

Colin Harvey, chair of the North Western Homosexual Law Reform Committee and subsequently one of the founders of the Scottish Minorities Group, lived in Milngavie.
