The Joiners Arms is a gay pub in Hackney Road, Shoreditch, in the East End of London. It was taken over in 1997 by David Pollard, who described it at that time as 'the first new gay pub under a Labour Government'.[1]
In 2014 it was announced that the pub would have to close at the end of its lease in January 2015.[2]
