The North Riding is one of the historic divisions of the county of Yorkshire, along with the West Riding and East Riding.

At the reorganisation of local government in 1974 the North Riding was abolished. The major part of the area was formed into the new county of North Yorkshire.

We've so far found no LGBT history for this district. If you know of anything we should be including, please let us know.
