Aberdeen is a city in north-east Scotland. It is Scotland's third largest city, and a main centre for tne North Sea oil industry. The city is a separate council area, and was formerly part of Aberdeenshire and subsequently the Grampian Region.

LGBT history

The Aberdeen branch of the Scottish Minorities Group was formed in 1971.[1]

Rev Scott Rennie was born in Aberdeen in 1972 and is now minister of Queens Cross Church there.

The LGBT Aberdeen website was set up during 2012.[2]
