Dover is a town and ferry port in Kent, on the narrowest part of the English Channel, facing France. The Dover local government district includes the towns of Deal and Sandwich as well as Dover itself.
LGBT history
The Kingfisher in London Road (previousy the Cherry Tree) opened as a gay pub in 2007[1] but has since closed.
The Nelson in St James Lane is advertised as "East Kent' premier gay venue".[2]
