South Glamorgan (Welsh: De Morgannwg) is a former county in south Wales. It was created in 1974 and included two local government districts, Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan.
The county was abolished in 1996, when the two districts became unitary authorities. South Glamorgan was retained for ceremonial purposes as a preserved county.
It is part of the South Wales Police area.
The South East Wales LGB Forum was formed in 2004.
