XXL is a gay nightclub in Southwark, catering mainly for the bear community. It operates on Saturdays and Wednesdays at Pulse Club, on the South Bank.[1]
It was founded in 2000 by Mark Ames, and was originally in the arches at London Bridge station. In 2002 it established Bear Necessities which in 2004 became Bear Pride.[2]
XXL Birmingham is held once a month at The Core.[3]
