Jo Chastney

Jo Chastney is a former professional snowboarder. She was featured on the LGF's Aim High leaflet listing successful lesbian and gay people.

She was born in Barton-on-Sea, Hampshire and now works as a tattoo artist in Poole.

She was included under "Unsung heroes" in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2008. The citation said:

"Jo Chastney, 23, is the UK's top snowboarder. She became the British Quicksilver Snowboard Big Air and Snowboardcross champion in 2007. Last year, she was also nominated for Stonewall's sportsperson of the year award."[1]
