South Somerset is a local authority district within the county of Somerset. From the creation of the district in 1974 until 1985 it was called Yeovil, after its main town.
LGBT history
Ned Sherrin was born in Low Ham in 1931.
Discussions on Yeovil Pride began in 2012.[1]
