Sarah Waters (born 1956) is a Welsh novelist.
Her first book, Tipping the Velvet (1998), a lesbian romp set in Victorian England, was adapted as a TV series for BBC2.
Sarah Waters was listed as Number 8 in the Pride Power List 2011 and under "Lifetime Achievement Award" in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2011.
