The '''West End''' is the area of central [[London]], within the [[City of Westminster]], which contains most of the main tourist attractions, fashionalbe shops, and theatres. There's no universally accepted definition of the West End (the local government ward of that name only covers part of what is usually referred to as the West End, but it's generally considered to include such districts as [[Soho]], [[Westminster]], [[St James's]], [[Covent Garden]], [[Bloomsbury]], [[Fitzrovia]], [[Holborn]] and [[Marylebone]]. Many of these districts have had some connection with LGBT History at different times.

The West End is the area of central London, within the City of Westminster, which contains most of the main tourist attractions, fashionalbe shops, and theatres. There's no universally accepted definition of the West End (the local government ward of that name only covers part of what is usually referred to as the West End, but it's generally considered to include such districts as Soho, Westminster, St James's, Covent Garden, Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia, Holborn and Marylebone. Many of these districts have had some connection with LGBT History at different times.
