Location of the Isles of Scilly

The Isles of Scilly are an archipelago lying 28 miles of Land's End. They are within the ceremonial county of Cornwall, but are not part of Cornwall for administrative purpsoes, being governed by the Council of the Isles of Scilly.

LGBT history

The writer Annie Winifred Ellerman adopted the name "Bryher", being very fond of the island of that name.
