Knowsley shown within Merseyside

Knowsley is a metropolitan borough in Merseyside. It contains the towns of Kirkby, Halewood. Huyton and Prescot. According to the 2011 census, 80.9% of people in Knowsley describe themselves as Christian, the highest proportion in any local authority in England and Wales.

LGBT history

Christopher Wood, painter, was born in Knowsley.

Craig Colton, singer, is from Kirkby.

The Armistead Centre facilitates an LGBT youth group in Knowsley.[1]
