Rushmoor shown within Hampshire

Rushmoor is a local government district within Hampshire, covering the towns of Aldershot and Farnborough.

LGBT history

T E Lawrence lived for about six weeks in Farnborough in 1922, while on an RAF photography course.[1]

The Canadian MP Libby Davies was born in Aldershot in 1953.[2]

In 2013 plans were announced for a new gay bar in Aldershot.[3]
