Gender Action UK is a charity based in Medway, Kent, but offering practical help, advice and support to the LGBTQ community and anyone struggling with gender or sexuality issues, across the UK. It was established in January 2013.
Drop-in sessions are held at the charity's premises in Rochester.
Its objects include:
- Advancement of education
- Advice and counselling
- Conciliation and mediation
- Promotion of equality and diversity
- Relief of financial hardship
- Relief of unemployment
- Promotion of human rights
- Promotion of social inclusion.[1]
