Wareham is a town on the River Frome, in the Purbeck district of Dorset.

LGBT history

The Church of St Martin-on-the-Walls has a recumbent effigy of Lawrence of Arabia, who had a cottage nearby at Clouds Hill, and lived there in the final weeks of his life;
