Shoreditch town hall

Shoreditch is a district in the London Borough of Hackney, immediately to the north of the City of London. From 1899 to 1965 it was a separate metropolitan borough.

LGBT history

Summer Rites 2012 was held in Shoreditch Park.

The Joiner's Arms in Hackney Road is a popular gay pub.
